Olivia on the move from Patrice Hunt on Vimeo.

Package from Grandma

Saturday Olivia got a package in the mail. Her Grandma (Marcus' mom) sent her some clothes. She had so much fun looking in the box and pulling out the clothes as well as everything else.

Here she is showing off one of her outfits that she got from Grandma. It's just too cute right.

I think this was her favorite part of the whole thing. She kept playing with the empty box. She was throwing her toys in there and then looking into the box at them. Sooo, we let her get in the box.

And here is miss Olivia in one of her outfits from her Grandma today at baby story time.

Yesterday I took Olivia to baby time at Bookmarks in Northpark mall. We had so much fun singing and playing. Olivia is obsessed with looking at the other kids that can walk. I think her favorite part was playing with the eggs that sounded like maracas.

Our friends from church, Zack and his mom Stephine met us there. When the playtime was over the four of us went to lunch. Zack had a doctor's appointment to get shots after lunch so we hope you feel better Zack.

Father's Day

Olivia and I decorated for Father's Day and we made breakfast for Marcus. Then we went to church. Olivia looked so cute in her Father's day dress. You can see all the pics by clicking the link below. I just found out today that I can send a link from my Snapfish acct to this blog instead of uploading the pics separately. I LOVE this whole blogging thing.

Daddy's 1st Father's day (16 photos)

I'd like to share my Snapfish photos with you. Once you have checked out my photos you can order prints and upload your own photos to share.

Olivia is getting a tooth

We thought it would never happen. Marcus joked that she would be the only girl in junior high without teeth. Well ha ha daddy you were wrong. She is the last baby in our playgroup to get a tooth. Her cousin already has his bottom teeth and is working on his top two. I tried and tried all day to get a shot of this tooth and this is the best one I could get. That white spot in her mouth that looks like spit, well it's not. It's her first tooth, it just broke through her gum yesterday. She has not been cranky but there is a lot of biting and spit.

Olivia and I are going to decorate the house for Father's Day. I decided to make a Happy Father's Day banner for Marcus. Olivia's contribution will be a nice hand and foot print painting. I think that we will have to buy a frame so that we can hold on to her first piece of art. I thought it would be a better idea to do his outside so there would be less to clean up. These pictures are on the deck in our back yard. She had paint everywhere. I put it on her hands and put her hand on the paper. Before I could get the wipe to clean her hands she had wiped her hands on her thick thighs. It looked like she was in one of those old time movies where the people painted their faces black. Then she took the paint and it just went downhill from there. I wish I had pictures of the mess that ensued but Marcus was coming so I had to get her changed and cleaned up. I will post photos of the decorations on Sunday.

Marcus, Olivia, and I went to the mall yesterday to look around. Above is a pic of Olivia and I. Marcus wanted to get a shot of his two ladies. We went by a sports store and we saw this:

For those of you who didn't know I am a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. So when we saw that jersey I had to see how our steeler fan in training would look in it. It's a little big but it will fit perfectly by football season. Now all we have to do is fine a Spurs one and we'll be set.

I just figured out that I can blog from my cell phone. I think I have found my next addiction. But Marcus Bar B Q on sunday and here are some pictures of Olivia. The one with the peach was her first time eating a peach and I think she liked it.

Today I decided to be a brave mother and let Olivia eat her morning banana all by herself, sans a bib. It all went great and she ate it all or so I thought. As you can see from the pictures above she ate her banana very well with minimal mess. Just a little banana all around her mouth and on her hands and shirt. It could have been a lot worse as all mothers know. I was just happy that there was no banana in her hair or eyes. So I picked her up to take her to wash her face and hands and change her clothes. However I felt something soft and wet on my arm. When I looked down into her highchair this is what I found.
I have no idea how the banana got under her but the part you don't see in the highchair was on her butt and is now on my arm and dress. Oh the joys of motherhood. So I had to change both of our clothes, wash her face, hands, and my arm. But it still could have been worse!

Today Olivia and I went to the library for baby story time, we go every Monday. Here are some pics of Olivia with the statue outside the library. She was more interested in playing with my keys than taking a picture.

My friend Lana has been on me to start a blog and after looking at Ivy Ramblings I was inspired to do so. In the photo above is my husband Marcus and our daughter Olivia.
