A lot of things have been going on and I have not had any time to upload any pics so these are a few pics from some outings we have had the last two weeks. Olivia is getting bigger and bigger everyday, I am missing her being a little baby now because she is so independent.

I took Olivia to the mall in Sugarland and they had a play area like the one we use to go to in Dallas. However it is on a much smaller scale but she still had fun. It was a water theme with fish, turtles, and a bridge. She really enjoyed climbing all over everything. Here is a pic of her trying to climb on top of the turtle.

I tried to get her to crawl through the bridge but all she would do is crawl under it and turn around and come back. For some reason she would not go all the way through but she had fun any way.

Here she is on top of the bridge. Once she was able to slide down the first time that was all she wanted to do for like 10 mins. She tried to do it herself but it was too bumpy and she asked for help. It is the cutest thing, she looks up at you and hold out her hand and says help peese.

The next day was nice out so we took her outside to kick the ball around. (her new favorite thing to do. She was in the front yard and she wanted to eat her grapes while she played. She would kick the ball and come back and get a grape and go and kick the ball again.

The day after that we went to Main Event with my mom and step dad. (Olivia's Dear and Pops)We had a lot of fun bowling and playing arcade games as well as playing putt putt in the dark. Olivia wanted to bowl too so I had to take her up with me when I bowled. We picked a ball to match her shirt. Here she is with Daddy while we played glow in the dark putt putt.
In the pic below she is sitting on a rock that you had make your ball go through in order to win the hole. When she saw the rock she walked over to it and said sit sit, and sat right down on it. We had to putt around her on that hole.

We have started a tradition with Valentine's Day in which Olivia makes her grandparents handmade cards. This year was no exception we made each set of grandparents cards and she painted them pictures. I took some pics of her while she was doing her valentine's day project.

Olivia's Allergy

On Saturday morning after Olivia ate breakfast she started to break out. Her hands swelled up and turned red. After a few mins she broke out in hives all over her body. We had no idea what caused this but we figured it was because of what she ate. The only thing is that she had been eating the same thing almost every morning for months. We gave her some benadryl and they started to clear up so we went to Galveston. Later that day she had a vanilla wafer and took a nap at my moms house. When she woke up we noticed that the same thing had happen again so we gave her more benadryl. When we got home that night we wrote down the ingredients in all the things she ate right before she broke out. Sunday morning we ate pancakes and syrup and in a few mins it happen again. The only ingredient everything had in common was corn or corn bi product so we figured that she is allergic to corn and it's bi products. Monday we took her to the doctor to get her blood tested for allergies and we are still waiting for the results. Since we figured that out we have not given her anything with those ingredients, which surprisingly is a lot of stuff. It has taken days but her hives are now gone and we are taking measures to make sure they don't come back. Unfortunately that means no eating out for her, we hope that she grows out of this. Below are some pic I took of her face before the hives were completely gone.

Mardi Gars

There has been a lot going on these past few days but that is for another post. This past weekend we took Olivia to Galveston so she could go to her first Mardi Gars Parade. We had a good time. The only bad part was that my camera batteries were low when we got there. Sooo I didn't get any pics of the actual parade but I got some good ones of us before it started. We stopped at Sonic for some lunch on the way to Galveston and this is a pic of Olivia and I waiting for the food to come out.

The Parade was on the Seawall in Galveston and these are some shots of us waiting for it to start. It was really sunny and beautiful out that day but it was very windy. It was not cold but we put Olivia's hat on anyway because the wind coming off the water was cool.

There were so many people out that day and Olivia loved it. She walked up and down the seawall waving to people and pointing at every dog that passed.

I did get one pic after the parade in the car of Olivia with all the beads she (Marcus and I) caught.
