A lot of stuff

I know it has been along time since I posted anything so I am trying to catch up a little. Olivia is doing great, she just had her 18th month check up and shots. Her doctor said that she is developmentally advance and very healthy. She is 33 in tall and weighs 25lbs, she has gotten to be such a big girl.We have been busy so I decided just to put a few thing up so....

MOTHER'S DAY

Olivia and two of her grandma's on Mother's Day before church G-Ma and My Dear. Olivia hand made all her grandma's Mother's Day cards as well as envelopes. Sorry I didn't get a picture but I will for Father's Day.

After church we went out to eat and of course there was a wait so we took some pics while we waited. The top is Olivia in her Mother's Day dress walking around eating a cracker and her offering me a cracker while I am trying to take her picture. The bottom right are my sister, my mom, and I. On the left of course is Marcus (hubby) and I

PLAYING OUTSIDE & AT THE PARK

This was not a special occasions or anything, we were just playing in the backyard and I thought she looked so cute in her glasses.

There is this park that is about a mile away from us and Olivia loves to go there. I took some pics of her playing, it's amazing how big she has gotten since the first time we took her there.

This was also nothing special I just thought she looked like such a big girl with her baseball cap on. She also had her little ponytail sticking out of the back of the cap.

The past month has been so busy. Olivia has been a lot of places, too many to blog about each one so I decided to just upload some pics from some of our outings. We also went back to Dallas this past week but I didn't have my camera so I didn't get any pics but we did get to see all our friends that we miss so much. One of the places we went was to the kids fest in Downtown Houston. Olivia enjoyed herself. She got her face painted and so really cute wings that light up and her first taste of caramel apple.

The same day we figured since we were down town we should head on over to Minuet Made Park and watch an Astros game. That was Olivia's first Baseball game and she actually watched it.

The next weekend we took Olivia to Schlitterbahn because she loves the water. She looked too cute in her little cover up and her sunglasses. They had a lot of slides for to go down and I went down two with her. She really enjoyed riding through the water on her daddy's back.

We got her a golf set and she loved it, Marcus had to show her how to hold the club. As you can see she had no problem with her golf bag.

And to top things off we went to Shakespeare in the Park. Olivia loved it because people had their dogs there and she could walk around.

Easter in Mississippi

We went to Mississippi for Easter to see Marcus' side of the family. The drive from Houston is about 10 hours and Olivia did well on the way there. We watched YBCR twice, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Princess and the Frog. We were happy that my sister went with us so she could entertain Olivia and help drive. We got there the Wednesday before Easter and left the next Friday. Olivia really enjoyed seeing her grandparents and her cousins. Everyone was so excited that she could and did call them by their name. Marcus' dad is a pastor so we went to his church for Easter.

Olivia ran around so much before church that she fell asleep in the car on the way to church.
Marcus, Olivia, and I after church.

Olivia
had a lot of energy after church because she took her nap during church. When we went out to the car she saw her ball and wanted to kick it around in the front of the church.

Olivia and I looking at her new ducky book she got in her Easter Basket.

Marcus' dad has a four wheeler and my sister wanted to drive it. She did really good for her first time. We let Olivia ride on it with her and she had so much fun. We thought she would be scared but she wasn't.

Visit from some Friends

We had a visit from our good friends Lana and Madelyn. We were so happy that they wanted to see us while they were here in Houston. On Thursday we all went to Houston's Children's Museum. I think the girls had a lot of fun. They played in the water and they went shopping at the little HEB. It was so good to see them and I know that Olivia was happy to see Madelyn.

On Friday we went to Wonder Wild. I had been wanting to take Olivia there for a while but with Lana and Madelyn in town it was a good time for us to check it out. They had a lot of things for the girls to climb on and in. I think the girls had a lot of fun. It was this really big slide and I think the moms had more fun going down it than the girls. It was also this big thing in the floor filled with air that you could jump on. That is what Olivia is sitting on in two of the pictures below.

This place was big and Olivia and I climbed all the way to the top and went down the big slide.

Olivia inside after we climbed up to the top.

You operated these train cars by using your hands to peddle. Madelyn enjoyed it more than Olivia. The next pic is livi climbing up the stairs she got tired half way up and just sat there.

The Zoo with My Dear

Last Thursday livi, Dear (my mom), and I went to the Houston Zoo. My mom was off of work because her school was on spring break. Unfortunately we didn't know that every school in the Houston area was out as well. The Zoo was packed there were children every where.

We parked in a parking garage right across the street from the zoo so we didn't have a long way to walk to get there. Here is livi enjoying being pushed with her sunglasses on.

We had to take her out of the stroller once we got in the zoo. There were so many people there that she couldn't see past them in her stroller. This is livi and Dear looking at the Asian elephant. She was so happy to see one in person because she sees them on her YBCR DVD.

This is livi and Dear looking at the giraffes. I don't know if you can tell or not in this pic, but the one on the left is the mom and the one to the right of her is the baby and he is nursing. It was amazing to me to see how they twist their necks around like that.

I thought this was cute. As you can see Olivia is like 2 1/2 feet according to this chart and my mom is only like 5 feet. I hope Olivia gets her height from her daddy. BTW I have no Idea who that boy is in the pic.

It was a nice day not to hot but it was warm. My mom and I decided to get some Strawberry Chills to keep cool, Olivia ate all of my moms.

They had a carousal there and that is Olivia's new favorite thing so we had to get on. Olivia picked the Monkey to get on. She held on like a big girl.

The carousal was the last thing we did before we left. By this time Olivia was ready to go home and take a nap.

As you can tell by the look on her face.
